NEYIF celebrates a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to support vulnerable children in Yobe State. In partnership with the Isah Chikaji Foundation (ICF) and with generous funding from Muslim Valley, NEYIF has successfully enrolled 61 orphans in the Yobe State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) Insurance Scheme.

This initiative guarantees these children access to essential medical care, marking a crucial step in safeguarding their health and well-being. By providing comprehensive health insurance, NEYIF and its partners are ensuring that these vulnerable children receive timely and appropriate medical attention when needed, promoting their physical development and overall quality of life.

This achievement builds upon NEYIF’s commitment to providing holistic support to orphans and vulnerable children. Just last month, the organization distributed essential food supplies and Non-Food Items (NFIs) to these same children, ensuring their nutritional security and meeting their basic needs for the next six months.

The combined impact of these initiatives is substantial:

  • Improved Health and Well-being: Access to healthcare and nutritious food are fundamental to child development, allowing these orphans to thrive physically and emotionally.
  • Reduced Vulnerability: By addressing basic needs and healthcare, NEYIF and its partners are reducing the vulnerability of these children and providing them with a sense of security.
  • Enhanced Opportunities: Healthy and well-nourished children are better equipped to focus on their education and pursue their dreams, breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a brighter future.

NEYIF expresses its sincere gratitude to Muslim Valley and the Isah Chikaji Foundation for their invaluable collaboration in this endeavor. Their support exemplifies the power of partnerships in creating positive change and empowering vulnerable populations.

With continued collaboration and support, NEYIF remains dedicated to its mission of building a stronger and more resilient future for orphans and vulnerable children by enabling them to reach their full potential and contribute to their communities.
